Connicks Genealogy Requests and Contacts Page
This is a request on the etymology of the Connick
name. (i.e., the meaning of the name, and whether the language
from which it is derived is Irish or Scottish Gaelic, Cornish or
English etc.). Do you know what the the name meant? (The
Devonshire/ Cornwall name may have a different origin from the
Scottish/Irish name, and even the Irish and Scottish variations
of the name might have a different etymology, although at at
least some of the Connicks from south-western Britain emigrated
to Ireland in the 17th-18th centuries.)
Also, are there any books, web sites or organizations that might
have this information ?

I have a copy of the 1851 Census, Charlotte County, St. David

age 12.
In the 1870 Feb Census, Kitsap County, Seabeck, WT the following:

In the marriage of John T. and Caroline there was a child born
